Storage and Backup Engineers are responsible to deploy and maintain Central Storage and Backup Solutions. Solving any problems that may occur with them. Typical responsibilities of the job include installing and configuring SAN, NAS and Archiving Systems. Identifying and solving any problems that arise within the storage or Backup solutions.
Mission:
Install and configure storage devices and corresponding software.
Perform and test backups and restores to ensure that enterprise data is effectively protected.
Anticipate, mitigate, identify, respond to, and resolve issues with storage devices, storage access, and data retrieval
Research and make recommendations on storage products, services, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts
Monitor, analyze, and predict trends for storage equipment performance, space allocation, and data growth to recommend enhancements to the IT storage team
Remain informed on storage laws, trends, and issues, including current and emerging technologies and best practices; advise, counsel, and educate executive and management teams on their relative importance
Develop, document, and maintain operational processes and tasks
Collaborate with various vendors to maintain equipment including firmware, service packs, security patches, etc. to ensure the maximum performance, security and availability of systems

Work Model: Hybrid (2 days from office-3 from home)
Working Hours: Flexible
Fridays and Saturdays are off
