Your Mission:
Design and execute manual test cases, test scripts, and test plans to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and define testing strategies.
Execute various types of manual tests, including functional, regression, usability, and compatibility testing.
Identify and report defects and inconsistencies, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide input on potential testing gaps or issues.
Maintain and enhance the test case repository, keeping test documentation up-to-date and organized.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging best practices in manual testing and quality assurance.
Your Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
5+ years of experience in manual testing of software applications.
Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Proficiency in creating and executing manual test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is preferred.
Proficiency in testing web and mobile applications across various browsers and devices.
Work Setup:
Location: #Maadi
Work Model: Hybrid (2 days from office-3 from home)
Working Hours: Flexible
Fridays and Saturdays are off
